In my opinion, the GOP has assumed that their voter base is so stupid that they are not paying attention to their abuse of their power in DC, but tonights election returns have slapped them in the face with the cock of reality. Mebbe they will wake the fuck up in the next two years and get their heads outta their asses and remember that they work at our pleasure and that they are not Overlords For Life.

Ed, both sides are chock full of idiots. I don't call myself Republican or Democrat and never have. I would vote for either if the person in question is the person that will get the job done.
But now the Dems have the reins, so it's put up or shut up time, and I'm really interested in seeing the "PLAN" they've been touting for the last 6 years. They have two years to accomplish something other than "We're not the other guys" or else I predict that they will find themselves out on their asses in '08.
